Court, International, Legal, Technical, Travel.
Extensive translation/interpretation experience, lead simultaneous Interpreter for the military tribunals / commission at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, worked with the U.S. States Attorney's Office, the U.S. Federal Courts system, the Department of Homeland Security. An experienced Bowne Global Immigration Court-Certified Interpreter. Berlitz Arabic language Certified Instructor. Certified by Language Learning Enterprises as an Arabic Over-the-Phone Interpreter.
 
1990 - 1999 President and Managing Director
EGYPT TOURS & TRAVEL, INC. Chicago, Illinois
Owner of nationally-recognized deluxe tour operation with two offices in Illinois. Full managerial charge of both offices, including ticketing clients, supervision of professional staff, and communicating with airlines, incentive houses, travel agents, and tour operators. Clients include the former Governor of the State of Illinois and various news organizations.

Managed regional office for domestic and international travel, shouldering full responsibility for coordinating and generating business in 14 states. Hired, trained, and supervised professional sales representatives. Liason with agents, clients, international organizations, corporations, suppliers, and wholesalers. Extensive communication with home office in Cairo and regional offices in London, Paris, Rome, and Sweden required excellent managerial skills and the ability to act under pressure with diplomacy and a positive attitude.
